The Decisive Issues Study Group has been meeting regularly for many years. The group took its name from a book of the same name by John Stott, an internationally renowned author and religious scholar.
The group meets to study and discuss current, interesting religious books. We meet every other Monday morning in the church from 10 – 11.30 a.m.
This is an opportunity to have your say in a lively repartee. Both books and DVDs prompt our discussions on the cutting edge of faith and life.
Beginning in September, we are starting the season with a look at other religions in Canada through the eyes of various United Church of Canada writers in a book called “Faith in My Neighbour“. A very timely topic, wouldn’t you say?
Come whenever you can – visitors are welcome anytime.
Facilitators are Earl and Barb Taft 613-634-6507.
New comers are always welcome.
